Firebringer is a new musical from StarKid Productions that will premiere during the StarKid Summer Season 2016 with your help!

We've also put tickets on sale for our Late Night events! They were one of the highlights of the last StarKid Summer Season. It's pretty cool to see all your friends being so creative and putting on a bunch of different shows at once! More info about the Late Night's and Firebringer here!

It's been almost a week since the Firebringer kickstarter campaign has ended. We've been hard at work getting ready to get you your rewards! Basically, there's a LOT of stuff to talk about, so here's a list of all the info in this update!
We hope to send the survey on May 2nd, so that you can watch for it. You will not need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email will contain a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, add or remove add-ons, or update your shipping information, you can click on the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after we send the surveys out.)
If you prefer, you can just message us and give me your information, but answering your survey will help us get your rewards out to you quicker. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.
If you used Facebook to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you'd prefer to use, please message us.
We've pushed back the on-sale date for Firebringer tickets! A backer rightly mentioned that they'd love to know what late-night shows (different programming we'll have every night AFTER Firebringer) will be playing before they decide when they'd like to come to Chicago. So we've moved the dates back so we can secure a Late-Night schedule FIRST! Here are the new on sale dates!

All our backers will receive a pre-sale code so that they can be the first to purchase Firebringer tickets on May 4th! We're setting up the ticket pages now with Stage 773, so we'll get you the code ASAP!
We've decided to add more shows to our schedule, so we now have a Wed-Sun schedule! Below, find the ticket prices and show dates, so you're ready once May 4th roles around!

We've had some questions about shipping for rewards and add-ons. Let's see if we can answer them!
Q: Is shipping included for the postcard?
A: Yes it is!
Q: If I add-on the Backer Exclusive T-shirt and Poster, do I have to pay shipping on each item?
A: No! We've added a combination package that will prevent you from having to pay double the shipping if you buy both the t-shirt and poster. Look for it when you add-on items!
Q: I forgot to add shipping costs for the T-Shirt and Poster before the campaign ended! Will I still be able to get my add-ons?
A: Yes! Backerkit allows you to add any additional costs to your pledge if you're low on funds after selecting your add-ons! :)
Since you guys pledged $150,000 for Firebringer, we're going to stage and record three musical numbers of your choice! Any musical, any number! You'll be able to submit your requests via your Backerkit survey, and we'll narrow down the choices via twitter from there (@teamstarkid). So make sure you fill out your surveys as soon as you get them!
You guys have been waiting for these for a while! We'll be sending out the scripts for these with the Backerkit surveys, or shortly thereafter. The audio recordings will take us quite a bit of time, and we don't expect to have those done until August or so! But we'll make them worth the wait!
If you missed the cutoff for these rewards, you can select them as add-ons through the Backerkit survey. Remember, if you have a backer number of 1433 or lower, you get the Starship Requiem script and audio reading, and backer numbers 2594 or lower get A Very Potter Christmas script and audio reading. Here's how to find your backer number.

You guys can get us to $150k before the campaign ends, we'll cover, produce, and release 3 musical numbers from musicals that YOU choose! Have you ever wanted to see StarKid perform Cats? That can happen. And if we get to $155k, we'll cover 5 musical numbers total!
This seems to have been a little confusing, so let's try and clear it up! If you've selected the $50 pledge reward but want some of the Add-on items below, you would "add-on" the cost of each item to your pledge total! So if you wanted to add the Poster and T-shirt, you would add $42 to your pledge, so a *total* of $92 (*plus shipping).
SHIPPING! Important update! Basically we forgot to include shipping into the cost of these add-on items (poster and t-shirt). Because this is on us and we don't want our international backers to get screwed, we're going to cap international shipping costs at $7 for each item ($5 for domestic). That's less than it will cost to ship internationally but you guys have done an amazing job for us on this campaign and we want to reward YOU! You can add shipping costs to your pledge now, or wait until you fill out your survey and select your add-ons. Here's a repost of all the add on items!

REMINDER: If an add-on could bump your pledge into a higher reward tier, be sure not to change your reward selection to that tier or we'll send you everything in that higher reward tier instead of your add-ons!
Today was amazing! You raised $10,000 for Firebringer in less than 24 hours, bringing us within spitting distance of $150k. That's why we're issuing a challenge! A while back on twitter we asked which non-StarKid musicals you'd like to see us perform. Well let's explore that a little further...
If we reach $150k before the end of the campaign, we'll release a staged/filmed version of a scene or song from 3 musicals that YOU CHOOSE!
And if we reach $155k, we'll release two more! Been thinking about a StarKid version of Little Shop, Les Mis, Spelling Bee, The Producers? If we reach this stretch goal, everyone will get a taste of what that could be like! Fun for us, fun for you, GREAT for Firebringer!
Here are the last two members of our cast! We hope you enjoyed seeing these names get released! This cast is incredibly talented and we're just bound to have a lot of fun in the coming months!
Tiffany is so thrilled to be joining the cast of Firebringer! Since graduating from the University of Michigan in 2010 (go blue!) Tiffany has been a working actor here in Chicago on both stage and screen. She has played everything from a crazy ex-girlfriend, a fake playwright, and most recently a twelve year old girl from Mississippi--yup for real. Thanks to the Starkid fam for including her in this awesome project!
This is Tiffany's first StarKid show even though we've know her for years now!
Joseph Walker was born in New York, raised in Cambridge and San Francisco, graduated the University of Michigan with a minor in Global Systems from the School of Natural Resources, apprenticed with Starkid Productions in Chicago for 6 years, and finally moved to Los Angeles where he currently resides with his girlfriend and two rabbits. When he’s not acting, he is impatiently waiting for the arrival of self-driving vehicles, despite undoubtedly being unable to afford one once that glorious moment finally arrives. He is currently writing a musical, hopefully to be put up in 2017. Fingers crossed, everyone!
